We love visitors
Everyone is welcome at St Barnabas. Whether you’ve never been to church before, are a committed Christian looking around, or perhaps it’s just been a while, we’d love you to join us at a church that feels like home.

Arriving
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted at the door by our friendly volunteers. They’ll help you settle in, introducing you to some of our regulars before the gathering starts. You will find it helpful to grab a handout, and a Bible. If you don’t have your own Bible, there are plenty of church Bibles in the pews.
You can expect the meeting to go for up to an hour and a half. Throughout the meeting we’ll sing, pray and hear the Bible read and explained. We’ll share a little of the church news, and we sometimes hear some uplifting stories from church members.
As some point a collection will be taken up to fund the work of the church. As a guest, there is no expectation on you to contribute, although if you wish to do so you are very welcome to.
Choosing a service
On Sundays we have three different gatherings. Each has a distinct flavour, but all share the same heart and flow. We are committed to the Bible as the Word of God and the supreme authority in our lives, so all our gatherings are shaped by and centred on hearing and speaking the Bible’s content to each other.

8am is our traditional Anglican service. Every week we use the Anglican liturgy, sing some great classic hymns, hear the Bible read and explained, and share together in communion.

10am is where the kids shine! With a relaxed vibe, we sing a mix of contemporary and classic songs, hear the Bible read and explained, and have a special program just for the kids.
Our Kid’s Church program runs concurrent with the main service, most kids start the morning in the hall behind the church with their leaders.

6pm is a mix of youth, young adults and the young at heart. The music is contemporary and uplifting, the preaching is in depth and challenging, and the post church hangouts are legendary.
